“French outfit Hypno5e juxtaposes technical, dissonant metalcore with pretty abstraction.”

METAL UNDERGROUND
-
“From breakdowns behind classical female vocals to gut-wrenching screams and syncopation, the band covers more ground than Rambo ripping through a jungle…  A surrealistic venture through several genres of haunting ass-kickings, because this is an album meant to frighten, impress, and envelope the listener.”

THE RIPPLE EFFECT -
“Experimentally proggy, technically over the head, and brutal all at the same time, these guys hear music in their own unique way and aren’t afraid to stretch their sound to distant and, as of yet, unimaginable dimensions… This is the type of album that will make you question all that you know, or think that you know, about music…”

TEAM ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC announce newest client, MOPA, feat ex-PSYKUP

((( FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Jan 12, 2010 )))

TEAM ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC announce newest client, MOPA, feat. ex-PSYKUP
TEAM ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC is proud to announce their newest innovative talent, MOPA (MY OWN PRIVATE ALASKA), from Toulouse, France, featuring ex members of Season Of Mist recording artist Psykup.  MOPA has recently signed a deal with I Am Recordings, which is Ross Robinson’s imprint.  The band’s I Am Recordings debut, Amen, was recorded by Ross Robinson (Korn, At The Drive In, Slipknot, The Cure), mixed by Ryan Boesch (Ben Harper, Helmet, Foo Fighters), and mastered by Alan Douches (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Mastodon).  Impressive indeed, as the band already has quite the track record from a full European tour with Will Haven, an opening slot for Metallica, and upcoming plans to tour the world.

A collector’s series album of Amen will be released on March 1st (double vinyl << album >> + CD << album >> + DVD).  Pre-orders for the collector’s edition begin February 1st.  A digital release is set for March 15, and a physical release on April 5th.

Milka (vocals) comments: “We’re very excited working with TEAM ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC.  With Ross Robinson recording our latest and taking in his philosophy, “stay free and stay ourselves”, we wanted to work country after country only with the most motivated people for MOPA’s music. Alex Gilbert and his team are one of those. They’re real workers. They don’t spend their work time telling they’re working… they really just work. We appreciate that. We’re hard workers too. We ate tons of roads, liters of gas, to play all over Europe.  We’ve got history, souvenirs, and stories to tell. Now we’re proud to spread our music for a strong year in 2010.”

Alex Gilbert (owner) comments: “Now-a-days, the music world is changing at such a fast pace, where stardom is arising more from a lifestyle than from the music itself.  France’s MOPA unleashes a lifestyle that just might save rock and roll.  The band unleashes classical and catchy piano compositions, hardcore drumming, and crazed vocals that both command and expand in so many ways, equipped with such a strong message that ultimately taps you to open up and express your true self.  I’m always looking for fresh, moving, and innovative talent with a futuristic vibe, and I’m extremely excited to work with such a creative force!  Look for MOPA to be on the road soon . . .  everywhere.”

I HIGHLY recommend you to check out this new lifestyle that is MOPA: http://www.myspace.com/myownprivatealaska

Make sure you check out MOPA’s video teaser for their 1st single, “After You”.  If you could please circulate this video teaser, that’d be great!

And while you’re at their youtube page, make sure you check out their video updates (all 7 of ‘em!) heading down to Los Angeles to record with the legendary Ross Robinson.  They are some fun watches indeed: http://www.youtube.com/MopaOfficial

We have been working together on a few things for some time, but to now partner up and make things official only feels right. They have the same drive and motivation to move forward in this industry as we do, and we could not be more pleased. With a work ethic like that expect big things from TEAM AATM and FALLEN MARTYR

Alex Gilbert (TEAM AATM – Owner) comments: “Tom and I have been in touch for some time now, and I’m extremely proud to announce a partnership with DARK KNIGHT MANAGEMENT, to where the two of us combined will strive for maximum output.  On the FALLEN MARTYR side of things, the dudes are rockstars, really!  From their crushing technicality, soaring leads, and classically trained vocals, FALLEN MARTYR gives the whole package, getting the most out of their melodies, crafting quality songs from start to finish.  I’m stoked to be helping on the PR side, as well as lending a hand in booking.

Expect FALLEN MARTYR tour dates to surface in the very near future, in support of their latest, The Six Roots Of True Will.  In the meantime, you can hear 3 songs from the release here:
