TEAM ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC is proud to announce the addition of ultra-tech metallers, JOURNAL, to their trend setting roster.  Residing in Sacramento, JOURNAL’s influential 2007 debut, Casualties Of War, garnered the band quite the reputation as a fresh take on progressive / technical metal, and the band began to grow a cult-like following who could not get enough of the extremely infectious JOURNAL.

Now even leagues better on their latest 2010 release, Unlorja, the dudes are expanding tech metal into unimaginable dimensions, thinking both musicianship and concept.  Calculated to the exact decimal, JOURNAL’s jaw dropping math / technical death metal onslaught can be compared to the schizophrenic side of The Dillinger Escape Plan, while equally as much the band’s adventurous prog side can be compared to Dream Theater.  The 80 minute long Unlorja is as epic as can be, and surely to make the cut on some of your “Best of 2010” lists!  There’s so much detail in Unlorja, that multiple spins are mandatory for this open minded beast.  Dive into its greatness now!

Greetings humans, you’ve just encountered A BAND OF ORCS!  Welcome to the prophesied Domination of the human race, ruled by your new leaders, A BAND OF ORCS.  These merciless guitar warriors fuse extreme metal with stunning theatrics to forge a virtual collision between Slayer and Dungeons & Dragons or Gwar and Warhammer 40K that is sure to bring the foretold Domination of our pitiful human race.  We’re not sure what exactly the Domination is, but we have become so ensnared by the heavy metal sorcery of A BAND OF ORCS that we’ll do anything to help them achieve this apocalyptic vision of earth’s future.

Their bone-crushing riffs, abundance of low-ended guitar tones, and guttural oRc growls are enough to make any righteous human raise their horns high into the air and convert them into metal tusks on wartless chins.  Hailed as savage reavers by even the most killer of human bad-asses like the legendary Bruce Dickinson, the shredders in 3 Inches Of Blood, Metal Sanaz, and many, many others, A BAND OF ORCS has begun to enslave the hearts, minds and souls of the masses.  Take notice before the Domination crushes you!

TRUTH CORRODED NEW ALBUM ‘WORSHIP THE BLED’ – REVEAL GUEST MUSICIANS

Australian extreme thrash metal band TRUTH CORRODED are currently recording the band’s latest album titled Worship The Bled. The album will feature two special guest musicians – Kevin Talley from DAATH and Jonas Kjellgren from SCAR SYMMETRY. Kevin Talley (who has also performed with bands such as MISERY INDEX, CHIMAIRA, DYING FETUS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER) performs drums on the album with Jonas Kjellgren contributing a solo to the albums opening song ‘ Knives Of The Betrayed ‘. Jonas will also be mixing and mastering the album at Black Lounge Studio in Sweden in August.

Commenting on the involvement of Talley and Kjellgren, TRUTH CORRODED bassist Greg Shaw offers” To have Kevin and Jonas involved with the album is immense. Due to our recent line up change and inability to reschedule the recording we were really fortunate that Kevin could record the drums for our album, and his work is outstanding, completing what is the most intense music we have ever written. Kevin has worked with some very influential bands and his style is ideal for our sound. To have Jonas back on board to mix and master the album and also contribute a solo is incredible – he has been a great friend and offered great encouragement to the band.  We cannot wait to hear the final result”

Since the release of TRUTH CORRODED’s last album Upon The Warlords Crawl in 2008, the band have toured across Australia and Asia , performing in China, Japan, Singapore and Thailand, and supporting bands such as LAMB OF GOD, BEHEMOTH, ARCH ENEMY, DEATH ANGEL and SUFFOCATION. TRUTH CORRODED is proud to welcome Andrew Parkinson as their new drummer. Andrew will be recording the band’s upcoming album titled Worship The Bled.  TRUTH CORRODED will enter the studio in July with Worship The Bled to be mixed and mastered in Sweden by SCAR SYMMETRY guitarist Jonas Kjelgren.

Commenting on the recent developments in the band’s line up and the upcoming recording, bassist Greg Shaw comments: “Andrew is a great drummer with a highly professional attitude and musical background, so the band is really pleased to have him join. He brings enthusiasm and a strong ethic that the band needs to take its music to the next stage. With most of the album being written by Mark (guitarist) and myself, using a drum machine to map out the songs, the transition has been seamless. Andrew has started working on the new songs and we look forward to entering the studio with him in July.  The new songs are some of the fastest the band has written, but also the most crushing. This album builds on the previous album Upon The Warlords Crawl, but destroys using new methods”.

Former drummer Liam Okninski has left the band to join the army. His last shows with the band will be on May 22nd in Adelaide, South Australia and the Dead Of Winter Festival in Brisbane, Queensland on July 3rd.

 TEAM ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC is very proud to welcome extreme metallers TRUTH CORRODED, from Adelaide, Australia to the family.  The band has just returned from their 2nd Asian Tour, routing through the major cities of China, Japan, and Singapore.  TRUTH CORRODED and their monstrous stomp has been stunning metalheads with their latest release, Upon The Warlords Crawl, as well as delivering the business aspect into the mix, with members of TRUTH CORRODED owning indie metal label, Truth Inc.
